Could be an air lock in the hot water system.
Normal procedure is to slacken a hose clip at the highest point and bleed the air out.
Don't try this when the engine is hot or someone could get scalded. Surprised the dealer didn't bleed the system as they would have a special radiator cap that allows the system to be put under pressure

SOURCE: 1997grand voyager is blowing cold air new

I would look for a vacum leak on the control valve for the heater. There are 2 lines from the radiator leading back to the firewall. One has a control valve on it that should be vacum controlled. When you back flushed to the heater core you may have forced this valve open temporarily. The control may have low vacum or insufficient vacum to open a stuck valve. The good news is you can actually manually open this valve and tie it in the open position which will at least temporarily solve the problem. Check your vacum lines for leaks and check the valve to make sure it isn't sticking.

SOURCE: replaced water pump engine overheats

You still have air in the system. remove the radiator cap, if you have one, if not remove the resevoir cap. start the car and let it warm up to operating temperture. keep check on the level and fill as necessary. you may have to do ths a couple of times.

SOURCE: heater blows cold air

Air Temperature Control Blend Door Failure No Heat

In all modern cars there is a tiny DC electric motor driven gear drive that moves a plastic door that blends heated and cooled air from the AC and the heater core, this is called (interestedly enough) the air temperature control blend door actuator. The motor that moves this door fails because the door starts sticking from warping, most common complaint is no heat but it can be no AC as well. To replace these parts (blend door and blend door actuator) you must remove the entire dash from the car. Always have this problem confirmed by a dealer or qualified repair shop as it is a very expensive repair.

What does your radiator fill tank look like? When is the last time you changed radiator fluid? If you have an oil leak into the radiator, combination produces a jelly like substance that may be what blocks the screen. You may need a radiator flush and refill.

I put stop leak in radiator and now the car blows cold air vs hot air when running the heater. why?

The stop leak have restricted the coolant flow to your heater core. You can try flushing out the Stop leak with Preston Radiator flush or replace the heater core. Once Cooling system flushed out, replace thermostat, radiator cap and repair coolant leak. Good luck and hope this helps, and Note: Common Black kitchen Pepper does great as a radiator stop leak without leaving any residue and can be cleaned out of the system with water and not coolant flush. Two table spoon is more then enough to stop a small leak. Good luck and keep me posted friend.

My 2000 GMC Jimmy has been blowing cold air. We have changed the thermostat and flushed the radiator and heater core. The air is not as cold but is not warm. What do we do next?

flushing the radiator changing the thermostate and the heater core will not have any effect to the vehicle AC systems to make the AC systems blow cooler air. you need to have the systems check by the AC shop to check if you have any leaks, it may be low on refrigerant and may just need recharging. any ac shop can tell you exactly what wrong with it and what need to be done. You may have a small leak somewhere causing the ac unit to be low on refrigerant which they can put a die in the systems to detect any leaks you may have.

Overheating and blowing cold air. 1999 Grand Prix

It sounds like your water pump may have gone bad. The water pump pushes the antifreeze through the engine, heater core and Radiator which is regulated by the thermostate. Sorry for the bad news but i hope this helps, and Good luck
