1996 oldsmobile cutlas ciera cut off, cut back on only 20 mph,off

After waiting a minute on the side of the interstate, was able to start it back up. Would only go 20 mph. Then cut off again on a side road.

Could this be the fuel filter?

1987 cutlas ciera 2.5 starts fine runs good for 4 or 5 miles, just shuts down. will turn over fine but not will start,wait 15-20 mins. starts right up again.

locate the ECM under the dash on the right side in the side kick panel, gain access.do not remove it,light tap on it while it runs see it the motor changes.you probably need another ECM.I would have to have more info to help you better.
