Keys inside 93" tercel ,but i have a slim jim, cant seem to get it open

is not hard, i changed mine 95 tercel

You have to have the ignition lock exposed, take the covers off above and below the lock body that holds the cylinder.
Insert the key fully into the keyway, and turn it to ACC. On the ignition lock body, press on the "stop pin", that pokes out of the lack body, above where the cylinder is housed. Press on the "stop-pin", and extract the cylinder. If the key can not be turn ed to ACC, the cylinder will not come out.

He probably pulled a rod off inside your door when he was probing. Or it may have gotten bent. You will be able to see what happened if you take your panel off.
Apparently, this happens quite often, and a lot of police depts. won't help you any more for this reason.

1. yes you can
2. it is easier to use a coat hanger
3. on the pass side use a large screwdriver with a rag over the tip to pry the top edge of the door open slightly
4. straighten then bend a 3/4 inch right angle on one end.
5. insert the hanger from the top of door frame towards lock button.
6. you may have to remove and rebend the hanger to a shape that will allow you to reach the button.
7. wedge the back of the hanger against the glass pushing the tip of the right angle into the side of the button
8. while twisting the hanger against the glass lift up
9. repeat if neccessary

I dont know with out being there ,,But try this ,get a tennis ball, burn a hole in it with a 6 penny nail and than put the hole lined up with the key hole and hold firmly and push the air from the ball into the lock fast, I seen this on youtube and it worked on a car simular to yours,
