I can't close the moonroof on my F350. I got it to the closed position with the back end up and couldn't close from there. The motor is trying but something is broken. I found a small piece (1/4" sq. x 3/8" long) of plastic. I need to lower the headliner and then proceed from there. So the question I have is how do I remove the headliner. Also there is a tab (round) in the center of the headliner. Is the manual operation for the moonroof found there?

U will need to buy a can of spray white grease and clean and then lubricate all the tracks the door channels on as well as all the latches for the door, this will cure the issue in most cases, did allot of these while working at a Ford dealer.

usually the only parts you can get is either the glass or module. even from a salvage yard. So knowing this look to replace the whole module. it can be expensive. the headliner must be dropped, wires disconnected drain tubes, and bolts removed. once new is installed it must be synced.
