You may need a nw electronic key. I think its your anti theift system. Tru using you spare key

Sounds like idle speed motor may need cleaning, or replace. Doesn't cost more than $5-$10 for a can of throttle body cleaner, and some time, to pull it off & clean & retry before spending too much on other areas. Tuned up, and fuel filter changed lately?

Probably a TCC (torque converter clutch) problem. When applied, this clutch makes a direct connection between the the engine crankshaft and transmission input shaft (just like a manual clutch). If it doesn't release, then it's just like coming to a stop but not pushing in the clutch with a manual transmission.
Several possibilities for the problem exist within either the electronic or hydraulic circuits, but quite often it's the TCC solenoid itself. If that's the case, then it's a relatively easy and inexpensive repair. Check for codes in the computer and go from there.

if it have a old type distrubutor with points and condenser I would put in a new condenser because they will let motor run at idle but when you try to drive it won't work.

Engine stalls or RPM
fluctuates at idle up and down or dies near idle.
This problem is commonly caused by a dirty automatic idle speed control valve and throttle valve but always run a OBD2 fault code as well as the cleaning procedure. Buy a can of throttle valve cleaner (do not use carburetor spray cleaner!) from NAPA or Carquest (made by CRC chemicals) and spray it into the air intake while the engine is running, use up about 1/2 the can, engine will try to stall hold the speed up, shut it down and let it soak for 30 minutes, restart and blow out the remaining fluid, shut it down and disconnect the negative battery cable for 5 Min's to reset the base idle control
