Front Window stoped working on 2002 Jeep Liberty

The front window on my 2002 Jeep Liberty stopped working while i had the window down. If i press on the window button it makes no noise. All other windows are working and no other power outage exist. I had to take the window off it's track to get the window to go up temp. since I couldn't figure out how else to close the window.

Could this be a fuse or does this sound like the motor on the window went out? Is this an easy do-it-yourslef job?

Three things. Fuse, window motor, or bad switch. If the fuse is good, remove the door panel, disconnect the harness to the window motor, and check to see if you have power with a test light/volt meter while pushing the window switch (ignition switch in ON position). If you have power, the motor is bad, if you do not, replace the window switch.

Front Windows don't go up

the motor is getting weak , thats why it is easy to go down but not up , the up force takes alot more juice to make it go up , it will just stop trying to lift up on the window when there is to much strain and the relay will stop for a little bit
the track may need more grease to stop the strain on the window up movement , also the relay may also need to be replaced because it may see a strain all the time now

2002 jeep liberty rear window

It is the switch wear you roll up and down the windows. Get the switch replace and that should solve the problem.
