I have a Chrysler town and country with a power door lock that doesent work

So.... You can't expect the electric solenoid to actuate a mechanism that you can't physically actuate.
Use a flat tool to remove the door trim and find the cause of the jam up. Dont use grease to lube mechanism or the dirt captured in the grease & oil will jam it up again.

I have a 99 montana passenger side sliding door dont work. Hit either button all it does is clicks and motor seems to be fine.. I went to junk yard bought complete new motor and everything that comes...

I would check the overhead buttons there are two one opens the door, and the other beside it that shows the van crossed out, disables the electric sliding door feature. try playing with that, Also remember, that vehicle must be in PARK for the electric sliding door to open. Make sure the power lock on that door is working, and check the child safety lock when you have it open by the doors catch. Hope that Helps You.

The electric door locks quit working on an 05 T&C. is there something that I can do without going to the dealer? I pulled ioc fuse several times.it only works for a short time after that

I don't know if this will help but the electric door lock (driver-side, rear, sliding door) of our '05 T&C stopped working and the mechanic (was shopped for minor wreck damage) indicated that the lock actuator was at fault and he had none in stock. It did not get replaced and, of course, still is not working - electrically.

I just fixed my 2005 T&C sliding door. The wire in the plastic rolling chain is broken when resides right under the step pad. It took me 30 minutes to fix.

Passenger Sliding Door

If it operates normally by the key fob and the contols in the car but slides hard manually, it probably need s a sliding door motor. There is a clutch in the motor that probably is not disengaging as it should. Surprising that a dealer could not tell you this as I am a former Chrysler technician.

2002 Chrysler T&C sliding door won't UNLOCK w/ Switch or Key FOB

the other locks work correctly.

quick fix is to clean the contacts that the door makes when you close it. there are contacts on the door pillar (probably look like little copper circles) on the door itself there will be some spring loaded contacts... make sure they work freely and are clean.
