Possibly just a burnt out fuse, but could be the yransition switch between tanks not connecting properly. Check it all out.

The fuel pump inertia switch that shuts off the pump in the case of an accident or impact is located under the right side of dash I have also
found them behind the right kick panel. There is also a fuel pump
shutoff relay under the hood on the left firewall, and a relay on the
right fender apron behind a plastic cover. Hope this helps.

Before you have the pump removed check for a blown fuse/relay controling the fuel pump. Replace the fuse if it is blown and have someone to turn on the ignition and check for the pump to come on,if not you can put your finger on to of the relay and feel if it clicks. If not replace the relay. Hope this will help you.

in the fuel tank

i had a similar problem that ended up being the fuel pump relay located in the engine compartment on the drivers side next to the air box. there will be at least 2 relays, the fuel pump one is black and brown. check that first.

seek and thou shall find ,but first remove sender unit in fuel tank and drain gas from it then connect a 12v supply direct to pump and see if it works

did you try taking the pumps out and trying them individualy? cuz they myt b broken.. and besides you dont need to put more gas cuz you should hear them turn on especialy with the tank open./ . . . . cuz if all the wires are ok, its gota be a prob with the pums. . and you do have an old van. . 8)

have you had some one turn the key on and someone listen for the fuel pump by the back of the van. gthe fuel relay is ussally on the passenger side kick panel under the dash right next to the collission relay
