The oil level sensor was either damaged, or it has failed. In any case, the oiul level sensor needs to be replaced.
Common problem.

The graciousness of a FixYa rating for my assitance would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

2.8l v6 in a s10 blazer. no head gasket problems thus far. wondering why my oil pressure gauge fluxuates? minor rpm change while oil pres guage does its thing why?

Oil pressure always changes with rpm.
At idle you should have around 10 psi, and it should max out at high rpm around 50 psi or so.
You not only can't have as much pressure at idle, but you don't need it either.

The water in the oil means there is a blown head gasket or a cracked head (from overheating). Unfortunately this is a major repair. I would not drive it as you could cause further damage. Take the car to a mechanic that you trust or one that a friend recommends.

What all has to be taken off to get to to the oil pan gasket

Oil Pan REMOVAL & INSTALLATION
  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions in the beginning of this section.
  2. Drain the crankcase.
  3. Remove or disconnect the following:
    • Negative battery cable
    • Oil level indicator harness connector, if equipped
    • Exhaust Y-pipe, if needed
    • Transaxle assembly from the vehicle.
    • Oil pan bolts and the oil pan
To install: NOTE: The oil pan gasket is reusable unless it is damaged. Do not remove the gasket from the oil pan groove unless gasket replacement is required.
  4. Thoroughly clean the inside of the oil pan and the cylinder block contact surface. If the oil pan gasket is being reused, be careful not to damage it. Do not expose the gasket to cleaning solvents.
  5. If a new gasket is being installed, start the gasket into the oil pan groove and work the gasket into the groove in both directions. Once the gasket is exposed to oil, it will expand and no longer stay in the groove without wrinkles. If this condition exists, replace the gasket.
  6. Install or connect the following:
    • Oil pan. Torque the bolts, in sequence, to 89 inch lbs. (10 Nm).
    • Oil level indicator connector, if removed
    • Transaxle assembly, if removed
    • Y-pipe, if removed
    • Flywheel cover, if removed
    • Oil pan drain plug. Torque it to 15 ft. lbs. (20 Nm).
    • Negative battery cable
  7. Refill the crankcase.
  8. Run the engine and check for leaks. Fig. 1: Oil pan bolt torque sequence 7922vg08.gif

time for a new car.  You single handedly ruined this motor.  Don't waste anymore money on this car,  buy another car and do the prescribed maintenance as required. Think of this as an expensive lesson.
