Check fuel pressure.

It may be the ignition control module failing and in need of replacing.

if you used high pressure look for wire disconnected

Fuel lines could be blocked or even partially blocked or a simple fuse. Try blowing out your fuel lines with an air hose and see if that makes a difference

it sounds like to that it is either worn/ old injectors,dirtly HPOP (high pressure oil pump) oil worn HPOP pump or dirty fuel filters or fuel. you can take truck to a qualified diesel shop and they can do a buzz test on your injectors and see if they need to be replaced with a buzz test the tester will buzz all eight injectors with engine off and you can hear the buzz of the injectors then it will go through and buzz each injectors individually in firing order to der determin witch ones are bad. the bad injectors will be alot quieter than the other and most testing equipent will show what they are running at. hope this helps.

That would be a sign of a bad clockspring under the steering wheel.

The MLP sensor usually causes this concern. Manual Position Sensor. Located on transmission

With the timing connector disconnected................ Base Ignition Timing BTDC 10°±2°

That is your TPS located on the pedal assembly

Have you checked the engine and transmission mounts?? If these are loose they could easily shift causing the linkage to kick it into another gear. Most of these I have seen were Electronically shifted, if that is the case you might have a sensor problem in the cab, or a wiring issue.

P1351 Ignition Diagnostic Monitor circuit Input fault
The code 1351 in most case is set when the Ignition moduel has been replace with the gray one and it calls for the Black one.
The ICM for this vehicle should be Black in color instead of Grey. Ford parts books are incorrect and show that this vehicle should have a Grey module. The Motorcraft part number for the Black ICM is a DY-679

check ur crank positing sensor

try starting it in neutral,if it starts then replace the neutral safety switch

the solenoid has to large terminals and one small one .Run a cable from the battery to the large solenoid terminal marked Batt. then run a cable from the other large terminal to the starter motor terminal. The small terminal connects to the dash ignition starter switch or push button
