What can cause trouble code p0118 engine coolant temp sensor ( high voltage input ) 99 intrepid 2.7 v6

The engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor is a variable resistor, that measures the temperature of the engine coolant. The ECT sensor has a signal circuit and a low reference circuit. The engine control module (ECM) supplies 5 volts to the ECT signal circuit and a ground for the ECT low reference circuit. When the ECT is cold, the sensor resistance is high. When the ECT increases, the sensor resistance decreases. With high sensor resistance, the ECM detects a high voltage on the ECT signal circuit. With lower sensor resistance, the ECM detects a lower voltage on the ECT signal circuit. If the ECM detects an excessively high ECT signal voltage, which is a low temperature indication, DTC P0118 sets. You have A bad coolant temp sensor or a wiring problem !

My 98 tahoe's heater only works occasionally, it used to be that it only worked on high and low and sometimes i would have to hit the dashboard to make it start blowing. recently it stopped working all...

try taping on the blower motor with a mallet. if it starts when u tap it, its probably the blower motor itself. if it doesnt it is most likely the blower motor resistor. let me know which one you need to find

Blower for heater stopped

Remove the hush panel under the dash and unplug your blower motor turn the knob and see if its getting power. If it is replace the blower motor. If your heater seems to work on high but not the other 4 settings. replace the blower motor resistor and pigtail (same general location as blower motor)

I have a 2002 ford f 250 it will shift to 4 high but not to 4 low

I have a 2000 F250 occasionally i have this trouble to. It may sound simple but i have had to hold the brake for a while and turn the knob to low range while holding the brake. One time my transfer case was in a bind though and had to take the three bolts out and put a crescent wrench on the rod sticking out of the transfer case and shift it manually. Sounds a little excessive but i has worked for two years now. Until recently now it shift in to 4 high but won't come out it. Hopefully this helps.

Both switches are simple on/off, so you can test with an ohmmeter or just bypass with a paper clip. See your diagram at the link below.
