For last 2-3 months I have heard an occasional clunk sound coming from right rear wheel area; sounds similar to someone clicking their knuckle once, fairly loud, a solid single "clunk". Does not happen during first 5-10 miles after cold start, does not occur on turns or accel/decel or when/after running over bumps/potholes. Occurs while running straight at 40+MPH on smooth highway. Single "clunk", nothing more for 2 - 10 minutes, then recurs. Now occurs on every journey of 10+miles. Any suggestions on cause, please?
SOURCE: Loud squeaking noise from front end wheel or axle area.
It can be from both the struts and any piece of frame or body that has a rubber mount.(most likely struts and A arms making the noise)
Please rate this a fixya
SOURCE: clunking in front end when turning
SOURCE: Clunk/knock sound coming thru steering column from front wheels.
Sounds like the sway bar stabilizing links are shot.
SOURCE: front wheel squeak when making right turns
warped brake rotor have you had it serviced if so the over tightend your lugs causing your rotors to warp... does it pull when you brake?
SOURCE: LOUD CLUNKING NOISE IN REAR WHEEL AREA WHEN TURNING LEFT
sounds like either a sway bar end link or shock, more towards the end link tho
