Sounds like you have a vacuum leak. Try this. Remove the air filter housing and start your truck. Place your hand over the intake. If it surges the engine you have a leak, it the engine dies then you have a fuel issue. If you do have a leak its simple enough to find. Have someone sit in the truck and apply the brake with the vehicle in gear. Take a pair of pliers and pinch off one vacuum line at a time. Have your assistant gently apply the gas as you get to each line. When the engine stops stalling you've found your culprit. Note: If it's not a vacuum leak it could be a fuel return line issue. There was a recall on the return lines for the 88-91 model Dodge pickups. If the return line is blocked the engine will not run. I hope this solves your problem.

Engine stall when put into gear.

There are a few possibility on this one. If you run it out of gas or really low on gas you could of sucked junk up from the bottom of the tank and you will need to replace your fuel filter. Another is that your fuel pump us going bad and you would need to check the pressure. Your throttle position sensor may have gone bad. Your idle control valve is another. Your map sensor or mas sensor could be bad

2000 Dodge Durango 5.2L V8 starts but won't run

By run - do you mean it dies when you put it in gear? Or that it just bogs down when you attempt to accelerate or drive away?
..
A plugged Catalytic converter will cause this. So will a Bad MAP or MAS (Mas Air ) sensor. So will a bad TPS (Throttle Position) sensor.

I bought an 89 dodge spirit, and it wont keep the battery charged has had multiple new batteries put into it and it also stalls every time its put into gear what could be the problem

Most probably, the AIC stepper motor is bad, one way to kno, is when the engine slows at idle when you swithc on the air conditioner, and the Idle automatioc control does not correct the RPM dropping from the increased load. An engien that does not maintain correct and stable idle cannot maintain the battery charged, but it could have multiple issues.

I have a dodge caravan 2000 with v6 when first starts up in morning it runs fine afte it warms up it hesitates and sometimes backfires when you give it gas I have to feather the gas pedal to drive. When...

Symptoms look like a faulty crank position sensor. Remove it and give it an inspection, if it looks OK give it a clean, especially the tip. Check the electrical connection so that it is free of dirt and corrosion. If there is a spacer beneath the CPS make sure it has not got thicker due to rust, wire brush it - the CPS tip is very sensitive to crank ring proximity. Check that there is electrical continuity between the CPS electrical connections - infinite resistance = broken circuit = dead CPS. Reinstall it and see if sorts any problems out. If no improvement change the CPS for a new one.

Make sure no wires are getting caught up in the shift linkage. Other than that check the distributer. It may be bad. Or the cam could have wiped lobes.
