Loose driver seat how to fix

assuming you mean the seat is broken on the frame and not moving under power, remove the seat, fix (weld?) the frame or replace it.

Make the dealer fix it, if they fail to do so contact the factory customer service number in the owners manual.

it is easier to hit it with a welder remove seat from car to ensure you don t start a fire. be sure not to weld the bracket to rail or the seat will not slide.

look under seat and u will ee the rails on each side of seat rock seat back and forth to locate wich bolt is loose or broken or if the rail itself is broken if rail broken remove the seat and order or go to a junkyard for the rail

Have you look at the bolts(4x) of the seat if they are not loose?Is the seat loose at the backrest or complete?

Would have to be a broken lock mechanism on the bottom of your seat,

Bolts are in the four corners that form the "legs" of the seat.Front ones are usually visible, rear ones are usually covered by an easily removed plastic trim piece. If any of them rotted through and have broken, most times they can be drilled out and replaced. If the seat itself is internally loose then just replace it. There are usually lots of good ones in scrapyards.

It probably is wore in some areas. That is a little harder to see. I don't think it would be anything to worry about unless it is too excessive, then you might want to look around for another one at a junk yard that doen't have too much rock to it.

i found it at last. there was a loose wire under the driver seat. as simple as such.

My intuition tells me that the 6 way power seat track forward / reverse motor is bad. Sometimes you can replace just the one motor but most often a whole new power seat track is the only way to repair. It is not too bad to replace but the seat will have to be removed from the car and placed upside down to access the track assy. There are 2 bolts in the front of the seat and 2 bolts in the back of the seat that hold it down to the floorboard. Once it is loose you can rock the seat backwards to access and unplug the electrical connectors.
