My drivers side sliding door won't unlock with the remote or the actual switch on the drivers door. It locks fine with the remote. HOWEVER, when you try to lock it with the drivers control, each time you hit it, it goes down just a little bit. So, you have to hit it 6 or so times for it to go down. HELP!
The other locks work correctly.
quick fix is to clean the contacts that the door makes when you close it. there are contacts on the door pillar (probably look like little copper circles) on the door itself there will be some spring loaded contacts... make sure they work freely and are clean.

I have just brought a chrysler 2.4xl 2005 . And i am getting problems with the remote doors as they go to shut but then seem to **** back and stay open.

You are a GENIUS!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! Funny, I just used spray wax on the inner door jambs right before it stopped working. Duh!! I used a little alcohol and BAM, it worked like a charm!
Thanks again Robert!!
Driver and passenger side sliding doors seem to take turns whether they want to open or pop open then just sit there. Seems temperature has something to do with it. Maddening as all get out
