Radio reception on all channels is perfect say for 10 mins or even one hour and then it is almost like the signal becomes weak. This effects both FM and AM. (The CD player continues to work perfectly) Jaguar service say it might be because the car was originally for export to Cyprus and their setup is different. I find this difficult to accept since occasionally it works perfectly. Could be the attena input is at fault?

No FM radio reception,AM reception is okay.

You are going to have to pull the radio out and make sure that the antenna wire is plugged in securely to the back of the radio, this would give you the FM channels.

No AM radio reception in my 2002 Audi A4

do you get any stations, even weak stations on the AM band?  If not you have a bad radio and need replacement.  Try having someone hold the antenna as you scan the AM band.
