It is a BOLT, it takes a lot of Force (IMPACT GUN) to remove them... I have never had a problem removing one but it does take time...

Check grounds and power to the module. If good, replace the module. The module is with the motor above the head liner.

Test them Why would you ask that ? Those parts could last the time you own the vehicle, something close to 20 years with no problem

Have you checked for power to the bulb socket with a voltmeter? Is there a good ground?

The camshaft position sensor is mounted on the engine near the camshaft gear by the ignition coils.The crankshaft position sensor is mounted on the engine near the crankshaft.

If you have a handle, there are two screws to remove. The rest just pops off. Pull the panel some and inset a screw driver, move it to find a pug. Pop it out, move to the next one. Get a few out and you can give a jerk and start popping the rest. Remove the top piece first as there could be a couple of screws hidden. Be prepared to get some new ones, because they do break.

you may not get codes saved all the time , one sensor that is notorious for not getting recorded is the crank sensor so i'd start there , but could easily be the TPS but got to start somewhere, is there spark at plugs when turning over ?

It is 99% that's the problem. This cars are well known to have this problem. If you are not electrically familiar, is better you take the car to an electrician. But there isn't too much hope. Since the diode is hard to find. I modified the way the dome light is connected so there is no need for the diode, but it's a very complicated process but is worthy. If you are lucky to find the diode it would be a very quick fix but as I stated before, good luck finding it.

You mean the brass or metal heater core outlet? If that is leaking and not the heater hose, you will need to replace the heater core. It is like a small radiator with coolant running through it. Find a repair manual for the kia to see the heater core replacement procedure. Some are easy, and some require removing the dash to replace the heater core- a pretty time consuming job.

Waterboard it! No, really. Get a spray bottle that can spray out a fine mist, and fill it with water. Start the engine and let it idle. Now wet down all suspected areas-vacuum hoses and fittings, intake manifold gaskets, pcv hose, etc.. Special attention to the intake. Wet it down good around the intake sealing area. If you have a vacuum leak, the water will get sucked into the intake, and you will hear the engine idle change pitch, it may stumble and the idle will drop. If no leaks found, maybe was something else. Check fuel pressure for one.
