Dome light dosen't work the dioed needs replacing
The diode for the interior dome light is located behind the driver's side kick panel. You have to remove the kick panel or get access to the wires behind the panel. The diode is located in the wrapped wires just to the left of the fuse box area. When you feel around the wrapped wires with your fingers, you will feel a small hard rectangular plastic piece behind the tape wrapping the wires. Carefully cut the tape at the spot and locate the diode. Remove the diode and replace with a new one (about $13-18 at Kia dealer) and test. Retape with electrical tape and replace kick panel and you are done. About a 15 minute job.

Hi,
The sorento clock, along with many other import vehicles of this era,
have notorious issues with poorly designed circuit boards in the clock
module. We fix these on a routine basis, check out the website, we have

My Kia Sorento 04 model
sounds like you have a bad catalytic converter when they clogg your car cant exhaust and creats backpressure that stalls out your car the same thing with your air filter if its dirty your not getting enough clean air to the car... but because it runs 10 min... before it dies and you are getting no warning lights, and the car restarts after it cools down makes me think catalytic converter.... i hope this helps
Where is my rear washer fluid reservoir
The 6ya staff member assigned to reply to your post was trying to nicely say that you’ll never find the reservoir that you’re looking for because your rear end is so large it would require a 42 man expedition to circumnavigate. Those kinds of costs can become unaffordable for even the most experienced back door man. Sorry :(
04 Kia Sorento stuck in 4WD Low
The 1st time my 04 Sorento got stuck in 4WD low it was towed to dealership & they claimed it was the switch. Six months later, while on a camping trip, got stuck again. The local tow truck driver saved me hundreds of dollars in towing costs. Put it in reverse for at least 10-20 feet. That's it! He said that he found this to be a common problem. I later asked my dealership why they failed to mention this solution to me. They replied that they thought I knew! Spread to word!
The vehicle will not crank. it will turn over but
turn the key on (do not start) try and listen to hear if you can hear the fuel pump hum while it builds pressure.
If you can hear it, then you should be getting fuel pressure. You can change your fuel filter if you have low fuel pressure at the fuel rails. They have a test port on them you can check for pressure.
If you have fuel pressure and it is at good pressure of around 75 psi
Then you likely have no spark. This could be a bad crank sensor, or a bad fuse somewhere. Have you checked all your fuses?
