This is due to two speed sensors that are located on the Auto Box take it to a garage who will plug a computer into a special plug under your dash board sometime these can be reset with the computer but more often than not have to be replaced you can either do this yourself if your handy with tools and don't mind struggling and getting a bit dirty or let the garage do it, the unit's don't cost a lot but garage charges do. The timing belt may be touching something. You will need to look at the belt to see if it is rubbing. I would also ensure all lines were connected, could be a vacuum line making the noise???

Old fluid can cause problems. I would have changed the oil, filter and pan gasket before doing anything else. Make sure you get the right type of trans fluid, so many varieties these days and not interchangeable either.

Many reasons, depends on the usage and environment. It may be getting worn out and have a drag on it that pulled too much amperage and shorted the motor, or the switch, or blew a fuse.

Look through all of your fuses to see if one blew out. It could be the switch burned out or the motor but, start small. Fuses....

• long trips with heat on and warm air dries carpet, etc. and vent out with window. run air conditioner, it will condense water vapor and drain it away.
• too many short trips never get the car interior dried out.

May I assume you've tried the 'defrost' setting? Front or rear windshield? I'd be looking at control to turn on 'defrost'. As for the in/out, there's an inlet and outlet hose to the core.

I can only think of a couple of things that might cause that 1st look down inside the latch of the seatbelt just to see if something way have gotton down in there and is creating or stopping a connection . and the second thing is there should be a ground wire down by the floor wher you connect the seatbelt at . one last thing on the off chance the comp is getting a screwy signal just disconnect the neg battery cable for 5-10 minutes this will allow the comp to reset

My guess is you have a bad BCM- body control module.

For the Kia Rio5 model, the lenses above the license plate pop out by using a flat-head screwdriver. The lamp and socket all comes out together... put in new bulb and pop lenses back in and you're good to go. No real tools required other than something to pry the lenses out.

Cheap fix. Diagnostics will cost $60 to $90. Sensor, $20 to $30. If that doesn't do it. Then it is the temp motor or the logic chip in the dash. Dashes aren't cheap

The clutch is not clearing properly ,so wait a while for it to level itself off ,to get reverse in the meantime you stop engine ,put in reverse then start engine ,if after a while it still doesnt work and tries to jump out of gear you will have to strip the gearbox and change the dog gear

posible internal engine damage after over heat need to ck compresion on the engine to proper diagnosis

you can check fuses, relays and temp.sending unit that tells fans to come on
