Check belt has correct tension....check alternator voltage regulator...check wiring at the alternator...check fuses and relays....

Trouble Replacing 2004 KIA Spectra thermostat ?

You will need to take off that pipe that is in the way. I can't tell what it is for by the picture or another video on youtube. But looks like heater line. Also, you might try to jack the engine up from underneath (very carefully) It may not need much more room.

Drivers side window not working. I can manually

IF there is a grinding noise then the motor is trying to move, so take out he unit and try to see if the motor works , if so the mechanism is faulty or the motor does not have power in the drive.
can be the driver switching the motor or the motor itself. Replace after testing the transistor drive.

Where is the heater control valve located on a 2004 kia spectra 1.8

Go to rockauto.Com and look up your vehicle and then the part in a/c and heating so you know what to look for then follow your heater hoses it should be between the firewall where the heater core is and the water pump or thermostat housing

I suggest you get one of those manuals people get nowadays to do it yourself.. My nephew use it to repair my car and it's totally repaired now. Here's the website he bought it from. it's reliable-store.com they also have live c hat options to help you. other wise try manualslife.com but there's not live chat there these two are very good add helpful
