remove bolts holding cable to bracket, disconnect cable on both ends and remove.

remove door chime from circuit .

You can remove studs with sharp nosed pliers, but it is not easy to do....lots of work.

Check the breather on the unit is not blocked with dirt,etc

Disconnect the wire ,obtain a tube socket that fits undo it with a ratchet ,fit new one.

If the car is parked on a grade/hill, with the transmission in gear will prevent shifting (pressure from the wheels through your axle/driveshaft). Have one person rock the car back and forth with another person (with strong fingers!) sitting in the drivers seat with the foot over the brake (if you're on a hill). As the person rocks the car slightly back and forth, see if you can disengage the safety button and move to N or P. Obviously engage emergency brake after that!

The #1 reason an AC clutch doesn't engage is that the AC system has lost its refrigerant from a leak.

Looking under the hood in engine compartment with engine running A/C off , the compressor is engaged ? If so , the A/C compressor clutch relay is stuck closed energizing the compressor clutch all the time . Now if your talking about the blower inside the car running all the time , air blowing out of the vents . The A/C isn't engaged . Could be blower motor relay stuck or the control module is bad .

It is part of the powertrain control system module.

have alternator and battery tested sounds more like alternator may be the problem most auto stores such as advanced auto/auto zone etc offer this test for free

Is the battery dead?

Maybe not. Your warning lights go thru a test when you turn the key on so most would go off after a few seconds. The delay to start could be a weak fuel pump which is allowing fuel pressure to drain back into the tank.

Remove the batteries or change the frequency of the transmitter so the receiver is on different channel or if you wish to jam it generate a frequency that will oppose the transmit frequency disabling it

something broke behind the door panel and without removing it i couldnt tell you .

You need to remove the inner panel of door and re attach the door opening mechanism. Not hard, just a PIA.
