The van is a automation and will not shift pass second gear.

A scanner will show you. Codes will tell you. Or pull them and test them with am Ohm meter. Could be the solenoid pack also. If you transmission leaks. When it gets to low, it will suck air. This will also cause your van to go into limp mode. Start the van and check transmission fluid first. Fill as necessary. Turn it off and disconnect the battery for 30 minutes. This will clear the computer. Drive it. If it stays out of limp mode. Fix the leaks and/or keep it filled. Those sensors run around $20 a piece. The solenoid pack can be around $200+ Don't buy a good used one.

Transmission stayes in 2nd and wont shift

I take it you have a A604 Transmission?
The Fluid Level, Fluid Quality, Leak management and Transmission Filter are pretty much what you can immediately check and change. Is the Fluid Level correct?,,,checked while the engine is on? When was the last time the Fluid and Filter replaced last?
My 1994 I did the above and in 2001 ended up replacing a gear. I then had to change in 2002 the Transmission Solenoid, AND a year after that replaced the entire transmission (rebuild)
Start SMALL (fluid, filter, gasket) and work bigger (Solenoid about $300) and then to the transmission ($1,500-$2,300). I kept the new solenoid I bought for future use.
PS. The A604 has/had major problems lasting only 35K before additional problems. It has now 28-engineering changes. They also renamed it to the 41TE because the A604 was so bad and took on so many changes.
Good Luck and let me know if this worked, or if you had additional questions or information I can help you with at fixya.com!

1994 Chryslert town & Country mini van Infinity stero system speakers stopped working

The problem is the connector that plugs into the radio. You might try spraying it with electrical contact cleaner. Best solution would be to replace the connector. Don't know how handy you are but you could remove each contact individually from the plastic plug and inspect, clean, reshape and reinsert the pin back in the block. If you can find a schematic that identifies each wire in the plug that would help greatly.

Everytime i start my car the engine fuse blows. I want to know what might be wrong with it? why is this happing? When i change it to a new fuse it burns that to

Hi there. Well it could be either a short in the starter motor or the Key to solenoid or a wire touching earth like engine etc , so check wiring from ign switch as that switch could be the problem before going to far.

My engine belt slip off the pulleys. How do i fix

Replace the belt tensioner. This is a common problem. They also have a pulley available for the tensioner that has edges on it to keep this from happening.

Code 55 means end of message, Code 12 means controller has been cleared, in other words you disconnected the battery, You are a OBD 1,which means once you turn the key off,you loose the code its votile. You are right about the fuel tank area, As long as you know the symptom you will know the problem,You basically are describing a fuel issue, leaving the vehicle sit for hours with a failing pump will start, when the fuel pump brushes wear out the counter electromotive forces are not there to initiate the pump unless the resistance is low, this is why waiting hours before it start it starts.3_17_2012_2_39_27_am.jpgAlso get a fuel filter

Driver side wiper blade on 1994 chrysler town and

The wiper arms are 'pressed' onto the wiper motor spindles, often at times when only one of them stops operating, it is because the splines on the wiper that is no longer operating has become stripped out. and may need to either be replaced or tightened. I would recommend tightening it first, then replacing it if that does not correct it. You can access the hold down bolt (if it is not exposed) by taking a small screw driver and prying up the bolt cap. The bolt is usually a 13mm, and is more easily tightened by a ratchet and socket of the same size.

Heater vents close and it sounds like blower motor

You most likely have a vacuum line leak -- could be in a hose run to the vacuum motors which operate the duct doors or various other places. Vacuum drops off when engine is rapidly accelerated which reduces the vacuum the heating system motors receive. The blower motor seems to get louder because the closing of the doors provides the sound of the motor a different (more open) path to your ears.
