How to replace a transmission on a 1993 plymouth

many would think that this is a hard task, but it really isnt, all you need, is to sufficiently lift your vehacil to be able to get underneath it, disconnect your gas pedals from the transmission, via the engine bay, remove the exhaust system, disconnect the starter motor from the bottom, and take out all the bolts holding the trasmission in place, there should be a mount about in the center, connected to the trasmision which is what is mostly holding it in place, then gently move the trannsmission down and towards the back of the car, little by little, if it is a manual, u will need to disconnect the slave sylinder, then take your new transmission, and just follow the steps in a reverse order, finishing with connecting pedals. this is pretty easy, taking into account that a handful of highschool students(including me) removed the trasmission, clutch and flywheel, and replaced all of those in a matter of days(only 2 school hours a day).

Changing the rotar on the 93 plymouth sundance

The rotor should just be pushed on or possibly have a clip in the side or maybe a screw on the side to keep it down. I have never had to do anything other than pull up on the rotor to remove them. Look at the replacement rotor you have. If there is a clip on it examine how it releases. It is most likely not a clip but the rotor is just stuck on a pressure clip kind of like the one used on spark plug cables. If you see no screws or pins going through the old rotor that is mounted it is most likely a push on with key way. As a last resort, go to the local Auto parts store and find the Haynes repair manual for your vehicle and look at the tune up section. Most stores won't have any issue with this since they know you will most likely at least purchase the parts from them if not the book.

I need a shop manual for a 1993 plymouth sundance

If you visit the autozone.com website and register your car information, it will give you access to an online repair manual for the car. It is a really handy resource for automotive maintenance that I think you will find helpful. It's free of charge. Hope this helped and best wishes.

REPLACEMENT OF SERPENTINE BELT

If you have the new belt already, and can still drive the car.

Take it to ANY auto garage, and generally for around $20, they'll be more then happy to put it on for you.

The $20 depends on how involved the belt is (how large, and how it winds around the pulleys, and the number of plleys itself.

If you don't already have the wrenches to do the change yourself, the tools wil cost more the the garage will charge.

Hope this helps.

On a 1993 sundance where are the air bag sencors

You can't reset them they have to be replaced if they are bad. If the bag went off the module is junk. You have to test the sensors. The sensor that set off the bag is junk. The rest can be reused.

1993 Plymouth Sundance will not start or turn

Make sure battery is fully charged. Connect a test light to battery ground and touch batt+ to check if light. Now test that there is power to the starter heavy wire directly connected to the starter. If power, good. Now test for cranking power to solenoid wire which is on top of starter; have someone cranks as you check for power. If there is power, starter could be acting up. If not, check all fuses and neutral switch. Be careful working around moving and hot parts.
