if that pump is locked up.. goto a salvage yard and get another one.. make sure it turns also..

reset using the code reader. The best advice is to use the fault code reader as it will save mega money in future.

try checking your fuses its under the hood and there will be a black box witch is the relay and it should have 2 fuses on it just replace them

check fuses in the dash below the steering wheel(or under the hood by the battery..plastic box withcover on it) repost findings..

This is usually caused by the hood sensor not being depressed, and it usually happens during the winter. I have a CF hood on my Z and this started happening. Unplugged it and the problem went away.

Remove the inner door skin.Remove the window location bolts at the base of the window.Remove the motor mechanism retaining bolts and its wiring loom.Remove the motor and replace.Reverse above instructions for reassembly.

You could have a problem with the xenon light itself on the passenger side or the wiring running to the light assembly.You could unplug the connector from the light assembly and replace the fuse if it still blows the fuse, its in the wiring harness if it doesn't it problably is in the light assembly. I'm not sure how the lights are configured on the Z if the zenon lamp is replaceable by itself, you can try swapping it out. I haven't had any problems with my Z but those are a few suggestions on troubleshooting your problem.

It it most likely a blown fuse

you have to remove most of the dash then remove cluster from dash they attach threough rear of board

Get access to the button & unplug & meter it outIf good -- go to the gas door solenoid next & put 12V to it

What did you find wrong with the Thermactor/air injection system? If it was a system fault code that indicated the system is not working you likely need to replace the electric pump for the injection. Air injection speeds up the Catalytic chemical process by adding Oxygen when the engine is cold and Hydrocarbon production by the engine is higher. It runs for a very short time and then is shut down by the on board computer when it see the correct O2 signals.

Did you try moving the wheel while you are shifting? Stepping on the brake? Button on the shifter? Most of these are safety switches, some are electric and they do wear out. But I think you might have the steering wheel twisted in there locking the shifter, try moving the wheel. Make sure foot is on brake and key is on. Hope this helps.

try reading the codes if none found check the fuel line pressure it should read 55lbs on the injector fuel rail is a tyre valve looking thing you read the pressure from here with ordenary tyre valve gauge you know the one that pops out and you can the pressure .

check the timming belt it mighta jumped time or broke.

have you checked fuses/bulbs ???

wrong arrangement of piston rings affects intire performance of an engine. and must see that.have you calibrate your injection pump? and change your injectors?have a shop with scan-tool diagnose the problem.

Hi Michael, I think a good idea would be to to take the vehicle for a diagnostic scan. The most probable cause will be an HT coil failure. Regards John
