Are you looking for the location of the TCM (Transmission Control Module)?If so, you'll have to remove the transmission's valve body in order to access the TCM. You get to it by first removing the transmission fluid pan.

Clipping a kerb stone or a deep rut in the road may have caught the loom and damaged it. Take it to your Nissan dealer or trusted garage for advice.

I think the TD42 uses a mechanical fuel pump. If there is any wires on the pump it will be for either a fuel shut off switch or a sensor of some kind for the fuel management system.

Change thermostat. Put antifreeze in the system, it is better for not boiling because it is Glycol. Maybe blocked passages so give it all a flush. Maybe failing water pump.
