WHERE IS THE CAM SHAFT SENSOR ON A 2000 RAM 1500 318 2 WD

This vehicle doesn't have a cam shaft sensor such as vehicles that use coil packs do. This vehicle has a distributor and uses a pick-up coil that is internal to the distributor to determine camshaft position. It looks like this: 26097387-psmutrox4qou45bu3zj14qb0-4-0.jpg

REPLACED THE CRANK SHAFT SENSOR NOW WONT START IM LOST

You make it sound as though that before you replaced the crank sensor that it WOULD start, but I'm thinking that makes no sense or you would not have done that in the first place. Easter-egging parts to repair vehicles is a costly, often losing proposition. You are better to either: 1. Properly go through the process of determining which of the four necessary components is missing before swapping parts, or 2. Pay a mechanic to do it for you. You must determine what is causing the no-start condition. There are four components required for an internal combustion engine to work: 1. Fuel 2. Air 3. Spark 4. Compression If you get a can of starting fluid, you can spray some into the intake while cranking the engine. If it starts, you have 2, 3, and 4. If it doesn't, then you must look deeper. Air is usually there. It is almost never the problem, so ignore it for the most part unless the vehicle starts with the air cleaner removed. Spark can be the hardest to determine, especially since vehicles are computer-controlled these days. A failed crank sensor cam sensor/pickup coil, ignition module, ECM, or even the vehicle security system can result in no spark. Fuel is easier to determine, since you can listen for the fuel pump to dun, and can usually check for fuel at the fuel rail. However, there is the possibility that the ECM isn't firing the fuel injectors, so even with the fuel right up to the engine, that is no guarantee of fuel to the cylinders. For these reasons, if you are not equipped a fairly good knowledge of modern engine controls, and don't have the equipment to test and monitor the engine systems, you may well get off cheaper to have a mechanic do the work for you.

Trying to find the problem to why my park light fuse keeps blowing?

You are replacing parts but you should be focusing on wiring. you will need to physically check all the wiring for the rear tail lights and the front park lights for shorts to ground. you can also unplug all of the bulb sockets, replace the fuse, and see if it blows. if it does than it is in the wiring. If it does not than plug the sockets back in one at a time until the fuse blows, then inspect or replace that socket. The brakes are really hard to push.they dont stop the truck like they should and the passenger side rear is trying to lock up.

Do you feel the brake pedal go down when you hold you foot on the pedal while starting the truck ? Maybe the power booster is bad. The power brake booster is vacuum controlled in most cases an if you hold your foot on the brake pedal when starting you should feel the pedal go down if working correctly .

How do I fix my asd relay problems on my 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 pick up truck

Note the diagram. The left side of asd relay, line with arrowhead, is load side of relay, when the relay is energized that line moves to other terminal and it carries voltage to everything the asd relay controls. The control side of relay, right side, is that coil symbol, that side needs voltage and ground. The computer grounds the control side of relay if it sees proper signal from crank and cam sensors. Not only check those fuses, use a test lite check fuse circuit for voltage, as you can see, one fuse is hot all the time, the other goes hot with the key on. asd relay-mjson0k3fklv4nrxwvfsyjec-3-0.jpg

NO BRAKE LIGHTS NO TURN SIGNALS NO HAZARDS

Bummer deal! On some cars this happens to warn you tail lights are out! ...check as follows... Sounds like tail light bulbs are wasted - or a fuse for that circuit needs replaced. Remove light bulbs and see if there is a brake in their tiny filament. Replace both sides if not sure. See the fuse panel cover or car manual for the fuse location. A spare may be there to replace - if needed - or buy a pak of the size sown. Hope this helps. gc http://www.auto-tune-up-and-repair-options.com/

2000 Dodge Ram 1500 4 wheel drive, when putting in 4 wheel drive it makes a knocking noise when in mud.

Possible, but more likely it's one of the cv joints. It may produce the same sound behavior in tight right or left turns on dry pavement. Wheel bearings may also be a problem.

I have 2000 dodge ram 1500 with a number 5 and a number 7 miss fire along with the speed sensor it just happened driving down the road can you tell me what might have caused this and who I can go abou

Did you change the spark plugs also ? Could have a head gasket leak between 5 an 7 ! Could have bad fuel injectors , clogged ! What about the speed sensor , you have a DTC stored in memory ,have check engine light on ? Need you to explain this a little better , misfire along with the speed sensor ! What about speed sensor ? You could have a vacuum leak affecting those two cylinders !

2000 Ram 1500 truck voltage gauge intermittently maxes out and check gauges light comes on. When you restart it, everything is ok for a couple miles, then the same thing. Sometimes it makes a whining

The voltage output is controlled by the engine computer, so you may want to have a shop or dealer take a look at it. If the computer is the fault, the replacement may have to be programmed.
