Leaking gas
There are several possibilities and I would not park the vehicle inside. You could have a rusted gas tank, rusted gas lines, leaking fuel filter(Fram had a recall) and this is just leading up to the hood.Under the hood, the fuel rail, injector O rings, can also leak. You need someone to physically check your car. You should probably tow it to a repair place if you do not think you can fix it yourself.About the most expensive repair would be to replace the gas tank. Any of the other parts would be cheaper- some $10-$50 per piece. This is just something that needs to be seen to fix.

Fuel pump relay
Should be in a big Powerbox under the hood and should have lettering on the Powerbox to indicate Pump Relay, EEC Relay, and EEC Diode. If different, wiring diagrams are free at Autozone.com after you register your car. Help section at bottom of page is tricky to use as both Free and Pay features need to be separated.

Can not completely close the hood
Make sure there are no obstuctions under the hood.
Check your release cable, make sure it's working
properly to the latch. Check to make sure the latch is
open. Push the release all the way in.
Hope this helps.
Good luck
