Radio is on, but no sound. 2003 Olds Silhouette.

I had avery similar problem with my radio. At first I would lose audio but it would eventually come back. Then I lost it for good. I replace the radio and that work for a bit and then replaced the speakers and they worked for a bit. Eventually no audio. I took the radio and speakers back to the tech who installed them and he found a short in the speaker wiring to the passenger speakers. He installed a jumper around the short and the new radio and speakers worked fine. Then I had him put in the original raidio and speakers and have had audio ever since.

My front wipers stand straight up when turned

Its just the wiper motor if your using your wiper and you want to turn off the wiper wait until the wiper go back to its original position then turn off the wiper as fast as you can so it will not stand out when you turn it off or you can replace the motor of the wiper. Can't find negative connection on remote terminal battery

Just attach the negative cable to any metal ground. This will protect the battery in the Olds and still enable you to jump start your car. Best of luck.

Where is Bank 1 Sensor 1 on an 2003 Oldsmobile Sillohuette?

"Bank one" is the bank of cylinders that starts with the #1 cylinder. In this case this will be the bank of three cylinders that is closest to the firewall. Sensor #1 refers to the O2 sensor that is between the engine and the catalytic converter. So the Bank 1, sensor 1, will be the O2 sensor that is mounted in the rear exhaust manifold or tubing just before the cat.

Fuel guage is working right

A common problem is the fuel level sensor in the fuel tank. The tank would have to be removed and the fuel pump removed to replace the sensor. There is also a wiring harness that is a common cause for this. It is under the van and gets damaged by water.

Traction light stays on as well as my abs would

Sounds like you have a problem in the front brakes or a front wheel speed sensor. A common cause for a Traction light is a faulty front ABS wheel speed sensor or harness. When the Anti lock brake computer sees a problem in the ABS syetm, it disables traction control as well.

My 2000 beetle 2.0 has constant engine oil in the reservoir.

Most probably you have bad head gasket. That is the main reason for oil getting to coolant.
Check you exhaust for color. White color can be also idiction that coolant going to combustion chamber.
Hope that was helpfull

Front Turn Signal Lamp Replacement

Yes, I would remove the entire headlamp assembly. This is easier than you think. Unscrew the large black plastic nuts (you should be able to use your fingers, if not then use a pair of pliers) which are on top of the headlamp lens (2) and the turn signal lens (1). The turn signal lens also has a metal screw-in stud attached to it. The headlamp lens lifts straight up and is attached to the turn signal lens by a clip at the bottom. The turn signal lens is attached by a clip to the inside fender. You will need to pull / **** the turn signal lens straight towards you to get the clip to disengage. Once you remove both lamps you will see how they fit together to place them back in position. It takes approx 15 minutes to replace a bulb, since the alignment during re-assembly is a bit tricky.

Load leveler stuck

This happened to me.... ends up that the lever that senses the level was disconnected or broken and therefore stuck in a position whereby the sensor thinks the back end is too low. I wired the lever back into the appropriate position on the axel and I was able to keep using the vehicle until I got the replacement load leveler lever.
