Usually near the thermostat.
By the way, remove the thermostat and drive around with the car. If it still overheats, might have some other problem, like you said, temp sensor, or some kind of electrical problem.

Where is the heater door

  • This heater core is one of the easier ones to service. It is still on the passenger side but is removed from under the glove box. See diagram for a visual. If they were only all so easy....

  • You still have to lower the coolant and pull the heater hoses off the tips of the heater core from the engine bay side of the firewall.

GOOD MORNING! SINCERELY I

For a number of reasons, I'd stay away from it-it is not going to be great on gas, if it currently has no cam sensor, how can you determine if it runs properly? Although 136,000 miles is not a lot for a 93, if it has not been taken care of (oil changes, tuneups, trans maintanence, etc.) it wil just be a money pit. At the very least, the car should be running, and inspected (which would necessitate replacing the missing muffler). Ask that the car be inspected after the muffler and cam sensor are repaired by a mechanic of your choice, that should probably open your son's eyes to the condition of the vehicle, good or bad. I have a lot of experience with cars, and buying a 'beater' or project car is always a gamble, especially if it does not run. A car that does not run is generally worth scrap only, so $550 it too high.

Car won't start. Brake pedal is tight and making

I dont know what a TIGHT brake pedal is, but if its hard to push and hard, then the brake booster is bad, OR the hose to the booster is bad OR the engine has a bad vacuum leak.

Replace low beam drivers side

Remove turn signal assembly (uses a torx 15 driver). This will expose the two 10mm bolts on the one side of the headlight assembly. Remove the plastic front grill (uses a torx 15 driver - there are about 6 screws). This will expose the other two 10mm bolts on the headlight assembly. Remove the four 10mm bolts to remove the headlight assembly and this will allow you access to the headlight you need to replace.
