The only way I could help is to recommend a Haynes manual for your make,model,year of your car. Usually a public library would have one you could borrow or local auto parts store you would have to buy by it tells you step by step.

sounds like you need a new switch but you can pull the pcm fuse that will turn it off

Its an old car now Gary, when was it last serviced fully? And I don't mean just checking the tyres. You don't say how many miles or any history. Does it only do it from cold? Or any time you hit the gas? Give us a bit more to go on?

Check the brake pads by turning the wheel fully to the left and looking at the disc if it is scored you need new pads. Also Jack the car on the left front so the wheel is off the ground and try to rock it side to side if it moves and there is a clicking sound it could be the wheel bearings.

Since you didn't mention that you checked to see if it was low on oil, start there.

You should be replacing the rubber bits as well instead of using the old bits. IT the mount is in rubber that is pressed into the hole at the bottom of the shocky try using liquid detergent to make the rubber slippery.

A flat spot on acceleration could be low fuel pressure or a faulty throttle position sensor. Could also be a vac leak such as a faulty EGR valve. Is the check engine light on ?

Battery is probably not strong enought to activate starter. Battery is probably dead

Pretty sure that would be under the hood, right about the middle, or towards the driver side. Just changed one easily on a '92 Lesabre-5 screws and the electrical connector and a rubber drain hose, and off it came.

Check at the blower motor for voltage. If voltage is good, motor may be bad, or ground may have corroded. If no voltage, check switch, wiring.

Sounds to be internal voltage regulator in alternator failing. To verify this, have engine running and disconnect black negative wire from battery. If engine shuts off, replace alternator.
