water in the fuel pump open the drain plug on the bottom of the pump.to drain it .then close it .now pump up the pump as hard as it will go .get someone to turn over the engine as you keep pumping .

can be a bad cat /sensor / computer or wiring usually takes about a 100 to 125 miles on most vehicles to reset after clearing a code dead battery or replacing battery but thats if all systems are working properly if it was reset because of a code and that part of system hasnt reset than more than likely a problem with a component or system from original code

This car has two gas tanks, one on either side of the spare. The fuel pump that delivers fuel to the engine is on the right-hand side. When the left tank is less than half full, it requires a transfer pump to move the rest of the fuel over to the tank with the fuel delivery pump.
Those transfer pumps sometimes fail, or can simply come loose. When that happens, the car 'runs out of gas' though it still technically is one quarter full of fuel. It cannot access the rest of its fuel. This happened on my bosses '03 325 a few months ago.
If this is the problem, you can be sure to keep it more than half full of fuel until you can get it in to get it fixed.

Install a new radiator cap.

It could be the fan clutch. If it is bad the fan doesn't spin fast enough. The thermostat could be stuck open and the water pump could be damaged. Change all three and the problem should be solved.

Headlight adjustment would be the same for either drive, but would be different depending on whether you drive on the left or right hand side of the road.

Replace spark plugs and look at coils. Sounds like a misfire at idle. Car is trying to keep idle high enough with 1 or 2 cylinders misfiring. Car compensates then revs up as the cylinders catch and run again. These cars often have bad coils. Scan car and look for codes 301 through 306. Replace all plugs and if misfire comes back then replace the coils on the cylinders that occasionally misfire. Look at boots and spring wires on coils and replace coils that have bad boots.

If it hasn't been serviced recently do that and make sure the fuel filter is changed.

Your head light got nothing to do with the other two problems. As for the air condition and the dash you need to change the ignition switch $63.00 from autozone this should take care of other problem such as air bag light as will.by the way air bag recall for all 2000 3 series for air bag light now dealer will fix for free of charge. The airbag is removed by 4 torx screws from the back side. Disconnect the battery before removing the airbag or the airbag light will stay on and you will have to pay the dealer a bunch of money to reset it. Don't reconnect the battery until the airbag is replaces and the electrical connection is in place. Once the airbag is off, there is a 22 mm nut that holds the wheel on. After you take the nut off mark the shaft and wheel with a grease pencil so you know exactly how to put it back on or you will be driving crooked later. Then the wheel just slips of with a tug.

Hi,
1.You need to replace the window regulator (lifting mechanism). Hope you have some tools. Leave your car outside so the sun can warm the door you'll work on.
2.You need to remove the wood finisher by the inner door handle (we use a nylon pry stick made by a company called CR Lawrence item #216) release the two screws behind it.

3.Carefully lever out the window switch and disconnect connector.
4. Remove screw (T-20 torx). Remove the two screws at the bottom of the arm rest. Use your pry tool between the door panel and door to pop the door clips around the perimeter of the door.
5.Pull the door handle up and away to remove the top portion of the panel.
6.Remove the door handle cable from the cable side and speaker connector.

7. Use a razor blade and carfully remove the foam vapor barrier top and both sides WITHOUT tearing the soft foam (it keeps water out of the rear footwell during rain). Don't take the bottom of the barrier off unless you are replacing it. You can get the sticky black sealer at your BMW parts center when you get your parts.


8.Remove the three T-30 torx on the window motor, twist and remove. Cut the window regulator cable so you can move the window at will. Remove the 8mm bolt that clamps the window to the regulator. There is a metal nut that fits into the back of the plastic clip on the window glass. The nut likes to fall out when removing bolt.
9.Unclip the glass out of the regulator and manually push window up to top of window channel. Grab some masking tap and run several strips on the outside of the glass-over the top of the door- and back onto the inside of the glass to hold it up while you work on the regulator.

10.Remove the three 10mm nuts and remove regulator. Replace the nuts with three improved ones part number 07 14 7 153 450 .

11.Replace LR Regulator 51 35 8 212 099 .



12.Reinstall all in reverse order. Make sure your vapor barrier seals well. Make sure all door panel clips are in the door correctly before popping on door panel.
