You might have a door lock actuator (electrical) problem. I would let your local BMW dealer take a look at it. Good luck.

Check the body control module for proper operation. Check with the dealer on the exact procedure. It may have to be replaced.

Friend, you've changed everything but the right thing. The temperature sending unit. It tells the computer to go into cold start mode to start the engine by putting more fuel into the engine. If this sensor is erratic, sometimes don't work, it will cause a hard start situation if not in cold start mode. Dealer cant find this because it's a manual thing and may not be showing up on his tester.

run the fault codes first as the light also reports on transmission problems
just turning a light off doesn't fix the fault that put it on in the first place

Year, make and model of your vehicle would help. Do you have any codes in your ABS control module ?

The pressure sw. on the dryer maybe weak but the way you explain it I think the sys is low on Freon. The reason for this is you said it did not get that cold. I would add a half can or one to the sys and see if the compressor cycles longer. Hope this helps.

can be a bad cat /sensor / computer or wiring usually takes about a 100 to 125 miles on most vehicles to reset after clearing a code dead battery or replacing battery but thats if all systems are working properly if it was reset because of a code and that part of system hasnt reset than more than likely a problem with a component or system from original code

Headlight adjustment would be the same for either drive, but would be different depending on whether you drive on the left or right hand side of the road.

Your head light got nothing to do with the other two problems.
As for the air condition and the dash you need to change the ignition switch $63.00 from autozone this should take care of other problem such as air bag light as will.by the way air bag recall for all 2000 3 series for air bag light now dealer will fix for free of charge.
Good luck.

Replace spark plugs and look at coils. Sounds like a misfire at idle. Car is trying to keep idle high enough with 1 or 2 cylinders misfiring. Car compensates then revs up as the cylinders catch and run again. These cars often have bad coils. Scan car and look for codes 301 through 306. Replace all plugs and if misfire comes back then replace the coils on the cylinders that occasionally misfire. Look at boots and spring wires on coils and replace coils that have bad boots.

sounds like you have a blown fuse

The car will still run smooth, it's just the precat 02 lambda sensor will need cleaning or changing. Check for any chaffed wires first, it's easier enough to get to. You might just use a bit more fuel than normal. It's not a big job there's a video on YT how to change them

There should be two level markings on expansion tank; one for cold engine, and the other for normal running temperature ( hot ). Check level after vehicle has sat for a few hours or parked overnight and make sure it is at the cold level of expansion tank marking. This will allow room for expansion of coolant when engine is in use in expansion tank.
