Replace the bad motor?

Its probably the motor for sunroof. Heat from sun is probably tripping the thermal protection breaker in motor. Only way to fix is replace it.

The key switch may be worn enough that it is not turning all the accessories off when you pull it out.

Turn off the traction control.

Does it unlock the other door? Have you checked the battery in the remote? If battery is dead, you may have to reprogram the remote after replacing.

Remove the front seat can give you access to remove the panel. But if it has screws around the outer perimeter, most likely will have to tear it out. Best to find a replacement first. Look at the drivers door, if it has screws, so does the passenger side. There are screws around the arm rest and door handle to remove, then it pops off. Again the seat has to be out of the way.

You need to have the codes scanned for the top. Their are many sensors and switches to these. Not to mention the mechanical parts. I suggest you don't use it till you have it diagnosed.

Lubricate every single part that moves in the top frame all the hinge points, use a light oil like 3 in1. Wipe off the excess do not get it on the interior trim like seats and door panels. Move the top up an down a few times to work the oil in and then try putting it all the way down. Good luck

It could be the window sweep set is allowing water in or the door seal around the inside of the door jam and another over look problem is that the heating core is leaking coolant in to the vehicles cabin but the leak would be close to the dash if this is the case

There is no fuel cut off switch. The electric fuel pump only operates for a few seconds when the ignition is switched on and will only remain on when the engine has been started. If the engine is not started and the ignition is left on the computer will cut power to the pump. If you want to cut all power to the fuel pump you have to remove the fuse for the pump or remove the relay that covers the power circuit to the fuel pump.

Hook up a sprinkler heat to a stand (to simulate rain) and turn it on then go inside the car and watch for leaks.

You may have a loss of hydraulic fluid from the top opening pump due to a broken line or defective cylinder.

I would like to help but I would need more info on what is actually going on if it's just not starting easy and seems to be the clutch pedal then I would look under the dash at the top of the pedal there you should find a switch that swith tells the car that you have the clutch depressed for starting make sure that it is working by watching it click while you press the clutch in you may need twould people for this

If they ripped it out maybe they have caught a wire going to ecu. Try connecting the 9 wire plug if you can see the block it goes to.
