Buick Cars & Trucks - Answered Questions & Fixed Issues

This can occur if there is a blockage in the heater rad, or the blend door actuator that regulates air temperature into the cabin is malfunctioning, or the cooling system thermostat is malfunctioning. You can check by carefully feeling both heater hoses under the hood after the car has been run for a while - if one is hot and the other is cold, it's a blockage. If both are cold, check the thermostat. If both are relatively hot, it's usually the actuator.

No turn signals, then check the fuses in the fuse box. Check your owners manual for the location and fuse size. As to get the radio code, take it to your auto shop and they can call the dealership and get it for you. If they will not do that favor, you need to find another shop to do business with.

The 800 number and process on YouTube no longer work. Unfortunately, it must be done by a dealer. Also, be sure that the part number on the new radio is the same as the old radio. Many look the same but have different part numbers and are specific to a particular GM vehicle and frequently different year.

Jennifer on most all older GM vehicles lift the hood and the relay boxes are on top the inner fender well ( or real close by) on the drivers side. A black box with a lid. Unhook the lid and if not on the outside once you take the lid off turn it over and there should be a diagram showing which relay is which. If you can't find it look behind the grill and unplug the actual horn or horns until you do. Smack the horn button hard a time or two also. The horn button could be stuck in the on position. Hope this helps you.

Those are transmission codes, you may hav ed as bad TCM. (Transmission Control Module) I would take it to a transmission shop and they can tell you exactly what they mean.

Did you check to make sure your fans are coming on? I believe you have two, the one on the drivers side is the radiator fan while the one on the passenger side is only for A/C. Do you have a bleeder valve on the thermostat housing? If it does you need to bleed the air out. Easily done, let it idle, open valve and leave it open until a steady stream of antifreeze comes out.
I really think you'll find your fans not coming on. Hope this helps you.

Could be a lot of things, depending on whether the car is moving or not. For example, it could be a relay chattering. Figuring this out will need you to look behind the dash to locate it (take off the knee bolsters underneath the dash on the side the noise seems to be coming from).

youd be better off to get a locksmith or dealer to make you new keys to fit what youve got.. changing the column will require reprogramming of the pcm to recognize its new keys anyway
