Vl173 screen off center

Sounds like the trouble may be in trusting the auto-set defaults. If you haven't already, try setting the horizontal and vertical settings manually and see if it helps. Those adjustments should be easy to find, and if that will solve the issue, it will be a very simple fix. I hope this helps. -Steve

No driver

Make sure the video card driver is as up to date as possible. If 7 is not available for it, an earlier Vista or XP usually work, but not always- if you load the same bit type- ie, 32 bit versions for 32 bit 7 and 64 bit versions for 64 bit 7. Eventide took over that part of Princeton Digital's product line and have nothing listed in their support areas.

I have no sound on my moniter and on checking I do not have a audio cable on my moniter. Where can I get one.

If this is a new unit all what is needed is to check the first page in the manual for the list of acessories that comes along and if this cord is mentioned you must contact the dealer. If not this is a general type and so must not be a fault to get them in the general market- any spares shop.

I have a monitor that seems to be tryingto quit

Bad caps, transistors, transformers. Look for bad caps with bulging top or bottom seal first.

More likely to be bad caps.

Princeton Monitor Driver Pack R1.05 or any other

NO driver will make a monitor do what you want, that is a function of the actual VIDEO card that is what makes a monitor display the high resolutions, NOT the monitor itself, a monitor doesn't really need a driver as such to work at any resolutions. So try a Video card driver upgrade this may help?
