@VentureForthYou're an idiot. The flashing red light is ON HIS CHARGER FOR HIS WIIMOTES. So why the hell would it be a sync issue with the wiimotes and the wii console? READ the WHOLE question before making yourself look stupid.

You must first sync the remote and consul.To do this you take off the back of the remote then hit the red button.Their is a red button on the consul that you need to push at the same time then push the a button on the remote.If you are trying to hook up the old style Nintendo controller then you plug the controller in to the end of the wii remoute the same way you hook up the nunchuk.

that means it has to be synced into the base. It is not connected you see. You have to press the sync button on the wii and on the remote so that they recognise each other.

I had this very same problem and unfortunately there is no way to fix it. I even asked the people at best buy and they told me the same thing.

you have to connect it to the wii there are to red bottons one on the remote and one on the wii push the one on the wii then the one on the remote then it sould work for you .

There will either be a button on the controller....usually pretty small circularthat you will need to press along with the "sync" button on your xbox console. Sometimes aftermarket sync buttons are very small "pen tip" like. There may be a usb stick needed as with some Logitech products.

What you need is not really driver based.................You will have to turn on the analog button (You can find it on the game pad usually in the middle.Note also that not all games will really support the joystick unless you configure it to do so in the game settings.All the best.
