Hello, contact cust support for nikon, to get parts for your rangefinder.

you need to decide what distance you want bullseye to be. the arrow in flight is either rising or falling. if you get bullseyes at say 50 yards you will be low at 25 yards (arrow rising) and low at 75 yards (arrow falling). this is due to the scope is mounted higher than the arrow.

The unit need cleaning and repair. Contact any technician. This is not a user repairable work.

you can put any size scope on any size rifle, I am a marksmen shooter, you just have to have patients when setting it in.

Check you mounts. If mounted properly you should have enough. if they are not moving at all you have prob broken the fine wires that form the crosshairs.

Put your binocs in a big bag of dry rice. Leave them alone for a day or two. The moisture should go to the rice, but you may have deposits (the stuff in the water) on the lens, inside, where you can't clean the lens. Not much help can I give you there. Maybe contact the manufacturer.

return to Nikon, go by a gun shop first and have the people there look at it for free.

I also lost the battery cap for the LR550. I signed up for an account on Nikon.com and asked how to get a replacement through the "Service and Support" section. Very delighted to report that they immediately FEDEXed a replacement part - free of charge!!!Love my range finder, disappointed that the cap fell out but impressed with the service. Will put some tape over the battery cap from now on.

Simple solution: Pry or unscrew the cap covering the end of hinge shaft on the rear of the binocs (between the eyepieces). Use a screwdriver that fits snugly in the slot on the end of the shaft & tighten to desired tension. Place a dab of Goop-type cement on the inside of the cap if it was pried off & press it firmly back on the shaft . Helpful hint: Slide a small knife blade (an old dull one you don't use for cutting) under the cap and gently work your way around to pry it off. Note the position of the index numbers before you remove it so you can replace it in the same position.
