Try removing battery fully charge then restart camera after 10 min. on the SD card try reformatting and or try other card and ket me know the outcome.

There are a lot of possibilities. Try setting your lens on manual focus and see if the camera triggers. if it fires, then you have a focus issue.Put the lens back on auto focus. Find something the camera can easily focus on. Press the shutter half way and see if the lens is finding the focus. If not, your camera may not trigger. Try removing and reinstalling the lens. Be sure your camera is not set on timer delay. Fresh batteries

The camera is what is known as 'damaged' or 'broken', and will need (expensive) professional repair.

Hi Have you tried resetting the camera back to factory settings? This should clear up any problems...if it doesn't it may at least let you know what the problem is? I would suggest you go to the Nikon support site and see if there is a version you can download from there.

Sounds like you need to download the photos you have taken to your computer and erase them from your camera...or put in a new memory card.

Did you try another battery? This one is probably old and doesn't hold charge.
