I started the self-cleaning function of my Maytag oven, locked the door, and then got a F5E1 error message about an hour before the self-cleaning was completed, and I can't get the door open yet.
Is the cleaning cycle still going? If you have a separate circuit breaker in the load center of your house for the range, you could simply turn the range off, set the circuit breaker to off, and then try to open the oven door. When you turn the breaker back on, the oven should behave normally. Do this before attempting moving the range no matter if it is electric or gas - gas lines can break when you move a range, so be prepared to turn off the gas shut off on the supply pipe near the flexible line if it should break, then get a new gas line and install it before turning the gas back on. If you are the least bit unfamiliar or don't feel confident doing this, get someone who is either a professional or someone you know that knows how to address gas appliances to move your range. If your range is electric only, then you will have no worries once you cut off the power and reset the oven to off - then turn the power back on.
I have a maytag gas
That may be something that will only come on when the oven is set to grill.
Model # MGR6775BDS - Right Front Burner does not
Probably the gas jet is blocked. What you tried to clean is the mixing chamber, the gas jet is far too fine for a pipe cleaner to fit.
Access to the jet is usually by removing the cooker top and lifting away the burner and mixer. If something like a piece of grit is blocking the jet, using a jet cleaner will just push it back inside leaving it free to block the jet again so it is better to remove the jet before clearing it.
All 5 cooktop burners worked
I strongly suggest your gas man check the main line and connections as a tech should have been present during install AND testing. This is what they would look for. Test pressure at gas outlet. Test pilots (if any), Test ignition, and heating (noting the flame color and shape), Does unit come to temp as set on dial(s). Your seller/vendor may not be qualified the check these settings. Gas utility company HAS tools. worth it to have things checked properly like the main valve, regulator, safety shut off, leaking hose, fittings, clogged fittings (bits of plumbers putty or teflon tape, etc.)
I have a model MER5755QAS. Oven/broiler not working right.
Sounds like you may be getting only 110v to unit. After unplugging, Check for any burnt wires around terminal block or around elements. Also first check if breaker may have half way tripped. Cut breaker for stove all the way off and then back on. The bake element may have partially tripped the 220v breaker thus only sending 110v to unit.
