When I put a dvd in it says loading than no disc.
HI There,
If you are using original store bought or rented disc, then I have bad news for you.
The problem lies with the optical lens or the circuit board.
Try contacting the manufacturer for warranty on the product.
http://www.orbyxelectronics.com/warranty.asp
If you are within the warranty policy, they will replace the product for you free of charge.
Let me know the outcome so that I can assist you "further" till you get a replacement.
Thanks,
Mike
Flickers on and off
Hi Billy6,
Sounds like the back light inverter board is bad.
It's a very common problem.
LCD's use four small cold compact fluorescent bulbs to back light the display. (thats what gives the LCD it's brightness allowing you to see it)
The inverter board runs these lights and when they go bad they will typically show symptoms like you have or the monitor power light comes on and you have either no display or a very dim display.
If you ever have one that has no display but the power light is on you can check by shining a flashlight directly into the LCD from the front (right into the screen) if you can see an image then it's either the inverter board (most likely) or the CCFL bulbs have gone bad.
The inverter board and CCFL's are replaceable.
Good Luck,
El Duderino
Screen refresh is "jerky" when scrolling
The refresh rate for LCDs is 60 MHZ, your problem is very likly a video card driver issue. Unless you've changed the cards you should be able to download the correct driver direct from support.dell.com.
Adding speakers
i unhooked monitor speakers plugged external speakers in the jack on the back of my computer.
DVD player keeps shutting off
I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM BUT ON MINE I HAD TO REWIRE THE FAN WHERE IT HAD WENT OUT IT WAS REAL SIMPLE.JUST TAKE THE BACK OFF OF OT AND UNCLIP THE FAN WIRES AND SPLICE THEM INTO THE HOT AND GROUND WIRES THAT RUN RIGHT BESIDE IT (THE MAIN HOT AND GROUND) .IT WAS GOING TO COST ME 85 DOLLARS TO HAVE IT FIXED IT ONLY TOOK ME ABOUT 30 MIN.AND I DID IT MYSELF.GOOD LUCK

LCD blinking on and off continually
If it flashes ON and OFF when simultaneously unplugged from both power and the computer then it's trying to communicate with you.
Mine flashes code to me. It tells me what to do. Last night it told me to get it $5,000,000 in unmarked bills.
Seriously, turn the monitor on without connecting it to a computer.
If it flashes ON and OFF continously, then you have either a bad monitor or a bad AC/DC power adapter/brick (you know, the rectangular black corded adapter you plug into the wall outlet).
If it only flashes ON and OFF when connected to a computer, try the monitor on another computer.
If the monitor is 3-4 years old, it may be time to replace it since a replacement AC/DC adapter might be very hard to find.
Let me know what you find out, if you need more help.

Liquid video monitor trouble
Hi, the way your describing the problem it sounds like you don't have any video drivers installed in your machine, hence the computer is using a generic video driver with very limited resolutions. Try using Windows Update, when it asks you to do express or custom, choose custom and under hardware you should see your video drivers there. If not post the make and model of your PC and I'll help you find the drivers.
Can see screen for one second
I had mine for almost 3 years and last month ran into the same problem and i take good care of it. I turn it on it stays on for a 1-3 sec and goes black. can't figure out what it is

Back light inverter caps
Hello, what is the numbers on the board you have and what revision is it? I have a non working monitor that powers up but has a bad raster board which displays vertical gray bands on the screen. power bd,inverter bd case, screen, and control bd are all in good cond.I may be able to get you a value on the caps or sell you the unit for spare parts. I am not going to repair this unit like I normally would most others.spuds619

Osd problem
Did you try factory reset? If not, you should do it.
No sound from the monitor
Plug the monitor speakers into a source of constant sound (mp3/cd player) and make sure the monitor is not muted and volume is at least half way.
If that works adjust the volume and mute settings on the computer
