You may have a bike that is too small for you. If you are unable to return it the stem can be replaced by one that raises the bars more or that does not go forward as far, or the bars can be raised by using what is called a "stem riser". From what you have written my guess is there is no power going to them ..retrace wiring loom check for breaks

check engine light you need to have it scanned for the trouble code it can mean anything from gas cap not on correctly to engine / transmission with the code your problem can be corrected

The sensor is on the outside case of the transmission, check for damaged wiring or a pulled loose connector at the VSS sensor or upstream. I do not have exact info as this is a rarely seen make on this site.

Check to see if you hear the A/C Compressors engaging when to select A/C Mode if it does then its probably a Blend Door Problem (Actuator) and if you don't hear it engage it could be either a faulty low pressure sensor or you have a leak in the system!!!!
