2007 Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder Convertible Questions & Answers
The roof is not closing what do i do
As I'm sure that you'll appreciate, the Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder Convertible is not a model that the overwhelming majority of folks on here will have ever seen, let alone have experience of.
Because your vehicle is a very rare and highly specialised model it requires an answer from a specialist. Any other advice may lead to very expensive damage and potentially a long wait for spare parts and repair. Respectfully, and with the greatest of regret, the only safe answer to your question is to contact an authorised Lamborghini dealer.
Sorry that this is not the answer you wished for, but I hope that it has still been of some assistance to you.
My Front lifting system only
The lift system will automatically go down above 35mph it's not meant to be driven while in lifted state... only to clear the hurdle then you are supposed to lower it back down again. Also i was told not to park it and turn it off in a lifted state.
----------
The lift system is controlled by a dedicated ECU and is not directly tied to any "resetable computer". The error condition is possibily due to the low pressure switch of the lift system. Suggest you get it looked at at a shop that understands the lift system. The low pressure switch must be getting stopped .-----
The lift system is powered via the powering steering unit and it's fluid. When operating the system, the car should be running for about 10 seconds to charge the Power steering closed fluid system. At this point you can raise the car. The front will remain up until one of two things..
1) You reach a speed of 35MPH, it will then come down automatically.
2) You manualy turn it down, BUT it will only go down if the car is running and the system is pressurized, so bring it down prior to shutting the vehicle off.
You should NOT leave the sysem in the up position for period of time. The front lift shocks are pressurized and stocked with power steering fluid. Leaving it up can and will cause for seals to damage, in turn giving you a leaky shock.
It should be noted that the lift system shock HAS NOTHING to do with the cars operation and or other suspension shocks. IF your shock system goes out,. there is NO danger to operating the car, you just dont have the lift system.-------
So get the pressure switches checked, the fluid, the shocks checked.-------
This will help.Thanks.Helpmech.
I have a 2007 Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder. In the
that's not going to be enough to really hurt anything just use the high octane gas when you put gas in and you can also check with an exotic car service center to see if they would recommend a fuel conditioner or additive
I have an 07 Gallardo that is not driven much.
you should take it out for a run.this keeps all the mech parts lubricated. add a stabalizer to your fuel and keep your tank full to keep condensation from building up.condensation naturaly accurrs due to temp change.
What Is The Symptoms For swine Flu?
First you start snorting like a pig....OK, just kidding.
Symptoms are the same as any other flu. General bodyaches, fever, cough or cold....maybe diarrea. Here's what the CDC says:
What are the signs and symptoms of this virus in people?
The symptoms of 2009 H1N1 flu virus in people include fever, cough, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, body aches, headache, chills and fatigue. A significant number of people who have been infected with this virus also have reported diarrhea and vomiting. Severe illnesses and death has occurred as a result of illness associated with this virus.
I also put a link to the webpage for CDC, Centers for Disease Control

Cooling fans are not running
Hi
Thanks
for using FixYa. The a/c and heating systems on cars today are pretty complex.
10 years ago replacing the thermostat usually did the trick, but today there
are electric motors that operate the "blend doors" inside the dash…directing
air flow from the heater core and A/C evaporator core to the cab of the
vehicle. Always start by checking the actual coolant level inside the radiator
itself to make sure it is full. Then feel the upper and lower radiator hoses to
see if they are hot (when the engine has been running awhile and has reached
normal operating temperature), then feel the two heater hoses leading into the
cab of the vehicle to see if they are both hot as well. If you feel a drastic
difference in one of the radiator hoses, replace the thermostat. If all the
heater and radiator hoses are pretty much the same temperature I would suspect
there is a control problem in the dash controls or in the blend door operation
and a visit to dealer or a qualified mechanic is vital. Please
do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further
assistance.
Thanks

I NEED A DIAGNOSTIC SCAN
Their is no scan tool that can read this vehicle ,as its a europeon built vehicle the only thing you can read is the emmisions test which has to be allowed for the american market so it can be sold in america ,in europe from 2005 nothing can be read on this vehicle as its all encrypted along with nearly all other vehicles sold in the europeon market ,The only way is dealer diagnostics which connects with the factory via the internet ,Even resetting a remote key after a battery change is dealer diagnostic machine only and that includes changing the brake pads or even the engine oil .If i plug into a new mercedes it shuts down and only the dealer can reset the immobilisor .All diagnostics i do is with a automotive tester i have given up with buying scan programmes that will only work on older cars and cost a lot of money around the 2500 euro mark
I have a 2007 lambo
Plugged cat doesnt mean just plugged cat. there is a old saying cats dont die from old age.. they get murdered.. something is causing your cat to become plugged.. weather it is misfire or such!! I would go back and tell them just this and make sure they fix it!!! they are trying to get out of a repair.. I am assuring you they dont die from old age.. something kills them.. so there is something else wrong with your car!!! go back and tell them to fix it.. record log and keep reciepts if your engine blows up you have some leverage because it will be there fault!!! This could be really harmful for your engine!!!
Need help finding a wiring
First off, double check your cooling system level. Make sure you don't have any leaks anywhere. The signal is powered through a realy in a main power distribution box. The cooling temp sensor is going to send the signal to the ECU to then ground the relay and power the fans. Imformation is going to be limited, very very limited. I will help you make sense out of it the best I can. I do have some experience on these. Let me know when you find the power distribution box. It should be located nearest the battery and contain a series of relays and fuses. Let me know what you find.
While driving all gear is working properly , only when i go on full stop and gear is on first gear then automatically gear shift to nuetral , then if i want to shift gear doesnt shift, i have to swit
If you're at a stoplight in the first gear the Lamborghini is designed to go into neutral after a few seconds this is to protect clutch wear which is a weak Link in the pre-lp gallardo's. After the car automatically goes in neutral step on the brake then pull the paddle shift on the right side to engage in first gear take off as normal. The pre-lp Lamborghinis also have a safe system to where if it's a major component that's malfunctioning it should go into limp mode which would only allow you to use first and second gear depending on how severe it is it might go into full safe mode which the indicator dash lights reverse would be flashing in the neutral would be solid the car will not move and it will be stuck in neutral you have to have it towed home then hooked up to a Laura Software System or Texa these two software systems are designed to diagnose pre-lp Lamborghinis I have two Lamborghinis in which my '05 Gallardo had a lot of these same problems
