You need to request this from whomever you purchased the generator from.

what is the filter part number on the Generator now? Give that to an Auto parts place and they will cross it to what they sell

See if there is a heat shield for spark plug. Make sure proper plug is installed and gapped.

the compression ratio has nothing to do with head shape - it is the of the swept volume of the cylinder compared to one ( surface area X the stroke of the piston)

plugged fuel line or stuck float

There are some clips on the top of the spray head that fasten it into place. I found this pic that may help and your Kohler owner's manual should also have more info.

Make sure the oil pump has been primed and the pressure is ok . After it starts it should free up . make sure the ignition timing is ok and the battery is fully charged.

Make sure you have good compression. Sounds like you have blow-by. Crankcase vents into the air box.

When you remove the battery it will break the circuit and die and if your battery dosen't have at least 5v in it it won't charge and you will have to replace it.

Valve seats, valve integrity, intake seals. Perform a leakdown test to further diagnose

Check radiator coolant fill right to the top, if it has a low level switch or faulty switch I have seen this

Aux fault can be many things, if it failed to start you may get it. Try reseting and manually starting. See if it re-occurs while it is running or does it ever start and give error. I have seen this generator by a coolant level sending it is an auxillary fault

What do you mean? same as any model and serial number plates. Commercial? residential? the same

You may have a fuel issue, check that first. Check WC pressure on regulator, check shut off solenoid. Do this first.

Bad plug, ignition wire, valve clearance, or valve damage, vacuum leak at manifold. Timing cam off / damaged

What is missing here is a couple of things, what size generator are we talking? a residential, commercial, what control is on the unit. They all reset in different ways. One sure way is disconnect the battery charger first (VERY IMPORTANT or control board can be damaged) disconnect the negative terminal off the battery. leave off for a minute they re conenct and re energize charger. Fault should clear unless you have done damage due to over load.
