will bolt holes physicaly fit ? if so then bolt to frame and i suggest using blade from new mower on old frame

It seems like you have the model number in your question. Clarify what you're looking for and I can help you. Are you looking where to find these numbers on your engine and you just posted some random model number or do you want to know the model number definition, like what letter and number means what?

look down inside air cleaner before starting next time , if theres more than a finger full of motor oil in there then your head gaskets are going

engines that dont run smooth are most allways a problem with fuel , clean/replace all parts in fuel pathway , including the carb

this sure sounds as if the low oil cutoff is activating for some reason , look at switch carefully to see any physical dammage (ck oil level as well)

i bet its on a machine that sits outside a lot , if you remove top fan cover i'll further bet you see a build up of fuzzy lint / grass right by ign coil , your coil is being overheated by this "Stuff" and now has gone intermitant , your gonna need to replace it , see my video on youtube on how to do this , i did a video of this a few years back because i got so many requests for this from folks , it is quite easy even my 12 year old son (folowing my method) has done one before with no problems

now the kohler v-twin does have a bit of a problem with camshafts in this size range , your gonna need to remove valve cover on head side that you suspect is bad , verify that valves move in order (one at a time) as you turn over by hand with spark plugs removed (both sides)

wow intermittants are tough to find , the only way ive ever been sucessfull at it is to temp bypass each sensor (lie to controller) to see if it continues to run ,I do not recomend leaving any thing bypassed and not physicaly monitoring it , this temp bypassing is for only the most experienced techs that know normal state of sensors and can simultate them with off machine items

first question is does engine run at constant speed , if it doent then your frequency is never gonna match , most engine speed (surges) are caused by fuel problems clean this path very well , if motor runs contant speed but frequency is still not maintained then frequency control is bad replace it

if by asking this im assuming the generator is face bolted to motor , if this is so , to save from having another front bearing , the gen stator is directed attached to motor shaft , on the far end under end bell cover is the end of shaft , a long bolt goes thru gen shaft to screw into motor shaft , MARK/photograph all the wires you unhook helps a lot when puting back together

this allmost allwways means a bad head gasket if this happens , and most head gasket failures are from overheated blocks meaning a warped head face but on rare occasions it could allso be a bad valve stem seal

are you sure thats not OV cus thats over volt !! that means the output voltage had or still does excede the normal voltage , i had seen this happen to folks before if they dont kill there genset before they connect to shore power

depends on your climate if genset runs in colder weather run the 14 if not then it's the 12

to test it , start engine then turn on head lights to tractor , vary engine speed with throttle , do lights dramitiacly dim/brighten if so replace battery , your only runing off the alternator , it's also a good time to ck/replace your battery wires and connectors , if that batterys been in there for more than 5 years then yeah the connectors are gonna be hard to remove and most likey will require replacement

sounds if no throttle cable is connected and your running it off the govennor to be asking this question ,(if it had a throttle cable increasing it would bring speed up) the govenor speed is adjustable by the little screw on the top of carbarator that is connected to silver half moon (looking clip) use care to not overspeed engine if done while running , and a little bit goes a lot on the screw
