There is a a major ceiling fan manufacturer in Fort Lauderdale FL called King of Fans (website: kingoffans.com) that deals strictly with Hampton Bay ceiling fans & parts. They are the Home Depot distributor for Hampton Bay ceiling fans. Their number is 1-800-330-3267. There is also a 1-877-527-0313 number for Hampton Bay products other than ceiling fans...
You can also try ebay for OEM replacement fan remotes for the various brands including Hampton Bay...
we had a similar problem happen with our Hampton Bay Renaissance fan. It turns out that the warranty does not cover this by the way. The lifetime warranty you refer to is only on the fan motor. This is common with most fan manufacturers- just wanted to let you know about this because I think your interpretation of the warranty is wrong.
This fan is really hard to find and so are the parts for it. I would recommend trying to call Home Depot where you bought it or call the Hampton Bay customer support phone number. You're likely going to have to go through one of those mediums. I feel that the second thing (calling technical support for Hampton Bay) will probably connect you to Home Depot too because Hampton Bay is a house brand of Home Depot.
We were able to find the phone numbers we needed here:

They are just a low-end fan for Home Depot. The Hunters in Home Depot are also low-end. I personally would never buy Hampton Bay. Did you ever notice that the fan problems on here are mostly Hampton Bay, Harbour Breeze & Hunter?
This must be a common problem, since I Googled the part number and it popped up before I completed the number. I am going to have to order a new remote, since I don't have a solder pen. Wish me luck.
You will most likely need to replace the receiver with a new one from hunter. The receiver is actually a complete controller and contains the receiver, relays (which you hear clicking) and starting condensors(large capacitors which hold a charge that is "dumped" over the windings to get the motor to start from a dead stop). These appear to be pretty tightly assembled unless you have a desire to start replacing parts "off the board."
I have this problem with my Hoover VHC681C. The plastic at the back of the condenser unit warps outwards and stops it fitting back in the hole. To work around the problem, when I've finished washing out the condenser I pour very hot water on the warped plastic to soften it, push it back into shape with a wooden spoon handle and hold it there while it cools. Then I hold it into shape with my fingers before slamming the condenser back into the hole. You have to be quick! A replacement condenser is £70 - £100 in the UK. Very disappointed in this machine. I will consider shaving off the warped plastic if it becomes too troublesome.
They always screech when the belt slips. There are usually only 2 reasons this happens.
The drum slides at the lower front are worn out and creating too much friction.
Or
The rear drum bearing has worn out, and again too much friction.

Turn on the dryer by pressing the "Power" or "Start" button.
Use the "Time Dry" or "Timed Dry" button to select the desired drying time. Press it repeatedly to increase the time in one-minute increments or hold it down to scroll through the time options more quickly.
Once you've set the desired drying time, press the "Start" button to begin the drying cycle with the new time settings.
