Bugs in pantry

You need to get rid of everything that is infested with bugs, ie cake mix, flour products, cereal, bread, sugar, etc. Get rid of any opened packages as well as any that are not sealed. Clean out the entire cabinet, wipe down the inside of the cabinet thoroughly (I use a mixture of chlorox and water). Make sure any food that is stored in the pantry is in sealed packages that the insects have not perforated or in glass jars or plastic containers with tight-fitting lids. Having bugs does not mean you are unclean. The bugs come in with contaminated food you have brought home. I've even had bugs chew through plastic wrappers like cake mix. If you buy flour in paper bags, make sure to put it into a safe container. Anytime you open a package and do not use the entire contents, put the remainder in a sealed container.

How much water to one half cup of jasmine rice

Hello, Steve - If you are cooking the jasmine rice the traditional way on a stove, the ratio of rice to water is: 3/4 cups of water to 1/2 cup of rice (per most instructions on packages); for softer rice, add just a little bit more water, plus it is recommended to rinse the rice and drain it prior to cooking See: https://www.onceuponachef.com/recipes/perfect-jasmine-rice.html If you are using an electric rice cooker, the rice to water ration is: 1/2 cup of rice to 1/2 cup of water; rinse and drain the rice prior to cooking See: https://www.wikihow.com/Make-Jasmine-Rice-in-a-Rice-Cooker Best wishes.

How is the best way to freeze yeast roll dough to cook at a letter date and get a good fluffy and tall roll?

Hello, Anne - From: https://oureverydaylife.com/can-yeast-bread-dough-frozen-before-baking-28260.html (Quote) For doughs that need two risings, let the dough rise once immediately after you make it. Punch the dough down and shape it into a disc. Put the disc in an oiled plastic bag and freeze it. To thaw it, place it in the refrigerator overnight or set it on the countertop for several hours. Once the bread has come to room temperature and risen, bake it as you normally would. (End quote) Best wishes.

Can I freeze peeled pumpkin without par cooking

Yes. Peel and scoop out the seeds. Cut into about 1 inch chunks. Put it into a freezer bag loosely (or a food saver (sealer) bag - preferred). Will last about a year in the freezer. Don't pack too tightly in the bag or it will stick together.
