I recently had an avital 4103 remote start system
As an L1 ASE Master tech I ALWAYS advise against aftermarket alarm systems, however the problem you are experiencing is due to an action that is not being taken by the vehicles control modules. The installer should tie into the door control modules or find out why the body control module is recognizing the command for the locking/un-locking action, (hence the lighting response), but the doors are not taking appropriate action. I would have to look at live data in the vehicles control modules to see what modules are being commanded to do what. Take it back to the place where it was put in and tell them to fix it or refund it.
Good luck!
I have a Avital model 4100 remote car starter. My
I'm not familiar with this particular model, but do you have the wiring/installation diagram for this system? If so, does the manual specify if these are trigger wires or if they are output/source wires?
They could be trigger wires to allow a secondary system to activate the remote start and they provide options for either a negative trigger or a positive trigger. They could also be outputs that will provide a negative signal/pulse or a positive signal/pulse to activate other features when a remote start is successful (such as to activate a relay to power the heated seats).
My remote starter is cranking the car but as soon

Perhaps you need to re-program your remote unit.
They will do so at Pontiac workshop.
I have a avital 4105L remote starter and it starts up by itself
installed one one friends handicap van with lift normally they read the battery voltage to determine when the car is started voltage drops when starting .. when started the battery voltage rise back above the intial start ..you need to connect to the coil for RPM/Tach funtion so a drop in battery voltage does not shut system off conversily car will restart when battery voltage rise this would happen when my friend used the lift due to batter voltage dipin when lifting when he stopped (in van) it would restart add the wire to the ciol and set the 4105L to tach mode see manual
