Neutral remote
Check under the dash on the car. All remote start systems have a shut off toggle switch to turn the system off. If you had your car in for service then they may have flipped the switch. It is either under the dash somewhere or sometimes it is put under the hood where it can be seen by the mechanic.

Noise at left side
If you have a front wheel drive and the noise is a clicking or grinding type of noise then it will probably be a worn CV (constant velocity) joint. It will be worn and at full turn it makes the noise. You may well find it goes away as you straighten up but it still means there is a need to replace it.
It is not too hard a job to do it yourself but you will need a manual, tools, jack and supports to rest the vehicle on as you do it. There is no shame in going to a professional for this job.
Best of luck.
Brakepads changed
As the brakepads are new, they need some time to adapt the brake discs. If the rattle stays after a few days, take a look at the discs - if they are not silver and shiny (they are like rusty), you have to have them changed.
Why does the car start by itself after I installed
i could be to things, if the remote start has a remote timer, that you can program the remote start to start every hour for like 5 minutes, or there is an activation wire on the remote start that is getting grouned somehow and allowing the car to start. What i would do is look in your manual and see how to bring the remote start back to all its original factory settings, and make sure all loose wires are taped up and not touching anything. If you need help on manuals or anything let me know and i can walk you through it.
My car alarm siren will not go off
You have a wiring issue, bad ground, incorrect relay, loose connection, faulty alarm horn... start with the alarm horn as they often fail due to debris build up and corrosion issues at the internal/external contacts... then check ground and make sure the circuit you added is on its own fuse and is not just jumped from another circuit...

Have no idea what this is
Depending on the "brain box" used, this fob can lock/unlock doors, unlock trunk, and remotely start the car. the * button is used for the remote start....OR can be used to arm/disarm a security system. Only way to tell is to try the buttons and see.
Also, some are wired so that first you must hit the door lock button, then the remote start * button. Also may need to push * button twice to get the remote start to engage.
Somewhere - likely under the dash near steering column or ignition switch is the brain box. Give us the model numbers off that box and I can tell you a lot more about what it does.
