Is the volume of your speaker is in its maximum volume cause sometimes when the speaker is maximize an echo in the sound appears, but if ever the volume of your speaker is not maximized and still there's an echo in its sound try this, go to the right bottom side of your desktop and find the orange speaker icon then double click it once you are in the realtek audio manager select sound effects then once your'e in there, in the environment choose none so that the echo of your speaker will disappear.

it must be an X somewhere to press which will close the tabs that you have opened. have you tried to move/push the pages to right or left and the page disappears

Hi ,The best thing to do is go to your control panel , and find the sound icon and this will bring up a page with options like speakers , sound , etc. click on prop. and see if your speakers are there , than get back to me and let me know what happens ...............................good luck Roy

What are you trying to connect to? There's bluetootn, wifi and cable connections possible. For wifi, you need an isp account. For bluetooth, make sure it's enabled in settings. Otherwise a cable connection will require a USB cable with a microusb connector

Did you try first to connect to your home wireless (WiFI) network ?

There is a user manual for the A 500. Go direct to the Acer website and go to search...enter.. User Manual and you should be able to find an answer. It sound to me that in the 'set up' section you should be able to adjust the length of time the screen 'stays open' Of course this will use up more battery.

the only thing I can suggest is to flash your bios to standed bios.You will have to go to acer web site to do this and it tells you how to flash your laptop you will need a flashdrive to this other wise see if acer have a bios reset tool. sorry I cant offer you more ideas
