I removed my crisper drawer and glass to clean and can't figure out where the u-shaped reinforcement rod goes back to. I states to install rod before putting drawers and glass back in, but can't get it to fit anywhere.

If you will post the complete model number including the string of digits starting with P, (if it has these) I will look it up and see what I can find.
You can usually go to sears.com, click on parts, enter the model number from the fridge decal, and pull up a parts diagram of the fridge.
Thanks/mike
Well, I don't know about the individual shelves, but for the long glass shelf above the crisper drawers, there are two white clips located at the back edges of the glass that need to be pried out with a knife blade, or something similar. Place your blade in between one of the grooves of where the clip meets the plastic frame (and, NOT between the clip and glass! ) and pry the clip with a bit of a sideways motion. It's a little stubborn, but if you break a clip, don't worry, you really don't need it for the shelf to function.
Anyway, after you pry up the two corner clips, lift and slide the glass toward the back to get it out of the front groove, and voila!, the glass comes right out.
If you have the wire metal shelf model, there is a wrap around cooling plate (back and two sides) at the top of the inside. The frost that forms on this while it is running melts off after the compressor stops and the water runs down, into the drip channel, and out the drain hole at the center of the channel on the back wall. Clean out that hole so the water will flow out instead of down the walls to the bottom of your refrig.
If you have the glass shelf model, you have to remove the metal cover at the bottom back of the refrig and clean out the defrost drain hole located there.
I don't know if you've already figured out how to remove the front panel on your refrigerator crisper bin, but here it is. Once the drawer is removed, pull back those clips on the top left & right of the front of the drawer.Just hold the side and pull back at the same time, then you can remove it. Once both side have been released you should be able to remove the clear plastic front and clean both pieces. I hope that is clear enough. Best of luck, unless of course you've already discovered the answer yourself.
The bar goes into slots right above the drawers and under the shelf above the drawers. It's not obvious to see at first. It's at the very front of the shelf. You have to slide one end of the bar in first then the other side. The bar sticks out a little on each side so it can sit in the groves on the side walls of the fridge. For the longest we tried to put it underneath the drawers even though we knew it wasn't right. Hope this helps. The Whirlpool website can give you a parts manual if you enter the model number.
The rod has to be inserted inside the front of the assembly. Take the assembly out, flip it over, and look for the small spaces on either side of the front of the assembly. Slide the rod in.
